Mesick Michigan is a small town, with a big heart!! Come join the fun at the annual Mesick Mushroom Festival every May. Grab a mesh bags (to shake spore droppings along the forest floor) while you hunt the biggest Morel Mushrooms you have ever seen.
The AuSable River is one of Michigan’s Wild and Scenic rivers. It provides excellent opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, rafting and wildlife viewing. The river from Grayling to Oscoda is all wilderness with primitive camping along the river. We offer trips ranging from 2-1/2 hours to 7 days.
