Every year we are open, we have more fun that the year before. We expect this year to be the same. Our maze, pumpkin patch, and horse drawn wagon rides all waiting for you still at the same low prices as the day we opened in 2007 (see details below).

Buttersville Park Beach is a dog-friendly beach south of Ludington and a little less crowded than the beaches closer to downtown. Follow the scenic drive to the Buttersville Peninsula to this quiet escape off the beaten path.

Just down the shore from Big Sable stands the Ludington North Breakwater Light, another charge of SPLKA’s and a partner with the City of Ludington. This 1924 light is also open for tours and tower climbs and boasts a vibrant green light from its tower.

Just south of Ludington is a magical world of seventy foot sand dunes and evergreen forests. Here, burrowed amidst the Silver Lake State Park sand dunes, stands the spectacular Little Sable Point Lighthouse.

The Colors of Christmas is a drive-thru wonderland of lights and Christmas displays. Every night from 6:00pm to 11:00pm starting day after Thanksgiving through January 1st!

2nd & 3rd Weekends of February

Pentwater’s Winterfest is the second and third weeks in February and includes a fishing tournament, the Snowman Scram 5K and opportunities to go cross-country skiing in the Pere Marquette State Forest.

Muskegon Winter Sports Complex is a place to get the family out and active for the winter. We have ice skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and luge! You can purchase a season family pass and enjoy the outdoor rink all season! Skate rentals also available.

Every night from 6:00pm to 11:00pm starting the day after Thanksgiving until January 1 - the Croton Township Campground will be open for you and your family to drive through or hike through "The Colors of Christmas" light displays.

Come enjoy this Fall Festival highlighting the Michigan Sanctioned Kansas City BBQ Cook-Off Competition & farm fresh apples of Oceana County. Festival is held in the business district of Silver Lake Sand Dunes located six miles west of US-31 at the Hart/Mears exit 149.
