The Thumb is a region and its own peninsula. We call it the Thumb Region because when you look at a map Michigan's lower peninsula is the shape of a mitten the this area is the mittens thumb. East of Saginaw and north of Detroit is one of the most coveted areas of michigan also called Blue Water area. This is a favorite travel destination rich in natural scenic beauty, strong cultural heritage and unique towns and people.

Home to an 800-acre working farm and orchard with a Cider Mill, Funland, Tasting Room, and Hard Cider Production Facility. Blake’s grows over 40 different apple varieties on the property, along with a diverse selection of crops. |

July 15-20, 2024 The St. Clair County 4-H Fair is held at the beautiful Goodells County Park. Covering 120 acres, this Fair showcases motocross, a rodeo, children's activities, midway, music, truck/tractor pulls, exotic animals, livestock shows, draft horse pull, and a bump & run/figure 8. |
