Each paid child's ticket includes a free, locally grown pumpkin the kids can pick from our Pumpkin Patch at the end of the ride.

Children under 2 yrs ride free and also get a Pumpkin.

The Coopersville & Marne Railway Santa Train returns with decorated, heated cabs and a 90-minute round-trip ride. Children can sit with Santa and receive a present, and hear the Storytelling Princess read "The Polar Express." The train, which seats 250 people and has an on-board bathroom, departs from the station in downtown Coopersville

Winterfest is a full weekend of winter fun in Grand Haven, Michigan during the last week of January. The snow is upon us, and with Michigan’s winters being long and cold, this is a perfect time to get out and be active. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone warm and having a great time.

This is a 48-acre park with the beautiful sandy shore of Lake Michigan along the west side and the Grand River along the north side. The park consists entirely of beach sand and provides scenic views of Lake Michigan and the Grand Haven pier and lighthouse.

For a great view of Big Red, visit Holland State Park, and walk along the boardwalk to the north pier (wheelchair accessible). Holland State Park is at the west end of Ottawa Beach Road on the northside of Holland. You can also view Big Red from Mt. Pisgah, where the dune stair case takes you 157 feet above sea level.

The historic Cappon House was the home of Holland's first mayor and local tannery proprietor, Isaac Cappon. Built in 1874, it is now partially restored to its appearance in 1900. Visitors to the Cappon House step back in time, immersing themselves in the stories of Isaac Cappon and his large family.

The Holland Museum tells the story of Holland, Michigan, from its settlement by Dutch immigrants to today’s innovative, successful, and diverse community.

A palette of color awaits you as you wind along the entrance to Holland's treasured island. Tour up into DeZwaan, the only authentic Dutch windmill operating in the United States, grinding locally-grown wheat into flour, which you can purchase in the gift shop. DeZwaan sports a new deck and a restored grinding system.

Step back into the Netherlands of over 100 years ago, on a day when a festival came to town. Within this happy village, your family has many entertainment choices including Dutch Dancing, wooden shoe carving, rides, games, friendly farm animals, photo ops, food, drink and shopping. From kids to grandparents, the memories are endless.

Please join us in honoring those who have lost their lives serving our country at the annual Downtown Holland Memorial Day Parade. The parade starts at 9am, Monday, Memorial Day.The procession begins at the corner of 8th Street and Central Avenue and continues on to Pilgrim Home Cemetery on 16h Street, where a brief ceremony will take place.

June 28 - 30, 2024

The Annual Grand Haven Art Festival will transform the downtown main street into a chic, art gallery where you can buy beautiful artwork from your favorite artists. The Art Festival will provide the community and visitors with a unique opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind art, directly from the artist.

Hemlock Crossing offers 239 acres of woods and wetlands along the Pigeon River. Over six miles of trails meander through bottomland and upland forest, old pine plantations and along the river. Trails connect to Pine Bend County Park on the west end of this property. A pedestrian bridge and numerous overlooks offer scenic views.

Steamboat Park supports big rigs with large angled sites, paved roads and features 65 full hook-up campsites. Many sites are directly on the river with gently sloping shoreline and a sandy bottom. Watercraft are welcome at no extra charge. Guests may use our boat ramp and store trailers in our auxiliary parking area.

The Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival is a nationally recognized festival that honors and respects the men and women of the United States Coast Guard. Hosting a festival that provides family friendly activities. Focusing year round on the men and women of the United States Coast Guard serving in the West Michigan area.

Held Saturdays and Sundays each October this is a Fall tradition that is not to be missed! Passengers are entertained during the journey by THE GRAND PUMPKIN, SCARECROW & LITTLE CROW! Very family friendly not scary.

Santa Claus arrives in Downtown Holland during the annual Parade of Lights, escorted by 75 floats, trucks, antique cars, walkers and marching bands...all decked out from top to bottom in thousands of sparkling lights! This brightly lit holiday procession is fun for the entire family and a holiday tradition for the entire community!

Hudsonville Pike 51 is owned by Steve Guikema and Ron Snider who are also co-owners of Hudsonville Winery. Pike 51 Brewery is the new on-site brewpub that is finally here. This has been a dream for many, many years. Steve and Ron talked about this back in the 1990’s while doing their own home-brewing.
