October 5-8, 2023

Join us the first week of October for the annual The Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival is the premier fall festival in the Thumb of Michigan. The festival brings the beauty of Fall to downtown Caro with painted and decorated pumpkins from area schools.

Fifteen years prior to being bitten with the fruit passion, Stan Pankiewicz worked in a nearby apple orchard. He started there in 1969 and worked for several years for an elderly man named Harvey. It was a way for Stan to make a supplemental income for his growing family.

Welcome to Montrose Orchards! Still owned and operated by the Hill family, Montrose Orchards is a third generation farm. The orchard is nearly 200 acres strong with primary crops being apples, pumpkins, pears, asparagus, blueberries, strawberries, and cherries.

The Adventure Mine is a copper mine near Greenland, Michigan that operated from 1850 to 1920. During that time, miners removed more than 11 million pounds of native copper from the ground.

Nightmare Realm Haunted Attraction is a horrifying theatrical experience housed within an immersive atmosphere. Trista heard the voices all her life. The people of Cypress Hollow thought she was different...they didn't know how correct they were.

The IQhub is a 501(c)3 non-profit museum with a mission to educate the public, while bridging the gap between agricultural producers and consumers, using interactive displays and presentations. The IQhub is an educational center for agricultural history, innovation and exploration.

We are about 1 hour west of Detroit suburbs. Novi is 42 minute drive.

The annual Michigan JazzFest will take in the streets of Old Town, surrounded by the best of the Capital City's art galleries as well as unique retail stores and grand architecture. Its stages will offer outstanding talent, from local favorites to regional and national acts.

Shiawassee County Fair provides a fun environment for the community and youth. Come enjoy the beautiful fairgrounds, with a carnival midway, livestock, and premiere grand stand events!

July 15-20, 2024

The St. Clair County 4-H Fair is held at the beautiful Goodells County Park. Covering 120 acres, this Fair showcases motocross, a rodeo, children's activities, midway, music, truck/tractor pulls, exotic animals, livestock shows, draft horse pull, and a bump & run/figure 8.

June 13- 15, 2024

The festival is packed full with many events including carnival rides, air dogs, disc golf, beer tent, games and tournaments, car show, kayaking, live music and more. Fireworks will be shot Saturday night at dusk.

Enjoy the stunning views of our area on our professionally guided shipwreck tour! Take our cruise down the Cheboygan River, under the drawbridge, and past three lighthouses. From there we cruise into Lake Huron around the 14′ Shoal Light and into Duncan Bay over three shallow water shipwrecks.

Come join zombies from all walks of life (or shall we say death)! You never know who will show up, but the one thing you will never see is someone not having a great time.

Thanksgiving - - January 1, 2024

The Colors of Christmas is a drive-thru wonderland of lights and Christmas displays. Every night from 6:00pm to 11:00pm starting the day after Thanksgiving until January 1 - the Croton Township Campground will be open for you and your family to drive through or hike through "The Colors of Christmas" light displays.

We are a fourth generation family farm providing fresh Christmas trees and wreaths to the local area for over 55 years. We've been busy this year working to improve your experience on the farm. New this year, you'll be able to stay out of the weather in the big green barn, enjoy a hot cider or coffee and doughnut.

A wilderness resort at the top of the Keweenaw, with a history that dates back to 1934, and is on the state and national historic registers. The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge was built under the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1934, when FDR was the president of the United States and the country was going through the great depression.

A 100-acre park in South Lansing; Hawk Island Park features year round outdoor fun. In warm weather months, visitors can enjoy pedal boat rentals, a swimming beach and beach house, concession stand, Splash Pad®, picnicking, a playground, sand volleyball and horseshoes.

Rosa Parks Circle ice rink is one of Grand Rapids' favorite winter pastimes. Admission includes the skate rental, but you can bring your own. Hours are weather-dependent. Call 616-456-3699 for closure information.

Our trails take visitors through 56 acres of natural surroundings to see exotic animals such as primates, zebras, lions, reptiles, and parrots. There is a petting area and parakeet encounter for an up close and personal adventure with our animals.

Wolverine Nordic Ski Club volunteers maintain and groom the trail system which consists of 8 trails that provide 25 kilometers of both skate skiing and track-set skiing and 4 marked snowshoe trails. The rolling terrain provides trails for all levels of skiing and snowshoeing from expert to novice.

December 2, 2023

Step back in time as you take part in one of Michigan’s most unique holiday celebrations. An entire weekend of excitement including the Victorian Sleighbell Parade with horse drawn entries, bagpipers, reindeer meet and greet and carolers elegantly dressed in Victorian style attire.
