Join the city of Auburn Hills Michigan for the annual Tree LIghting Ceremony this event is a free family fun centered event that includes the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Our Mayor will light the Christmas tree on the corner of Squirrel and Auburn. Lots of fabulous activities for the family including photos with Santa and Mrs.

Michigan's Sunrise Side greets fall color in late September, and the autumn hues usually linger until mid-October. This 200-mile route travels from Lake Huron's shore to a stunning stand of virgin forest, with lots of opportunities for wildlife viewing along the way.

The Michigan Challenge Balloonfest features three entertainment venues with family activities and attractions. The Saturday night balloon glow is a must-see attraction at the Michigan Challenge.About 20 hot-air balloons will inflate on the launch field and glow their envelopes against the beautiful summer night sky.

The TC Boom Boom Club is planning a BIGGER and BETTER fireworks display for our 4th of July celebration. The Traverse City Boom Club mission is to celebrate our community, the beauty of the Grand Traverse Region and freedom.

Echo Valley Kalamazoo's Premier Winter Sports Park where you race 60 mph down one of eight ¼ mile long tracks on ultra-fast toboggans. Enjoy the 500-foot tubing hill. The warming lodge offers a fireplace, snack bar and viewing platform. Tubes and toboggans are free with admission. Ice skate rentals are available.

Enjoy a special look at Eleanor and Edsel Ford's elegant home as it is festively adorned in the finest holiday trimmings. From the original teardrop glass ornaments on the flocked tree in the Main Hall, to the stunning table display in the Dining room, no detail has been overlooked! Peek into how the Ford family celebrated the holidays.

Organized by Blue Key National Honor Society since 1934, Winter Carnival started in 1922 and has grown into one of the biggest annual winter celebrations in the nation.

Christmas in Lights in Iron River is the first Saturday of December and features a lighted parade of more than 30 floats carrying 1000’s of lights followed by a stellar fireworks show.

It starts on Friday Night with a tree trimming on River Street, Saturday hosts breakfast with the Grinch, the Gingerbread House Contest, Pouring of the Lead (fortune telling) Craft Sales, etc., Sunday is the annual evening Parade and the home and business contests

A holiday spectacular unlike any other, featuring trees, wreaths, tablescapes centerpieces and more! Kids crafts each day, plus bring your camera for photos with Santa from 12 - 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.

You are invited to brighten your holidays in downtown Rochester with The Big, Bright Light Show! The buildings in downtown Rochester will be covered with more than 1 million points of glimmering holiday light.

The jolly man in the red suit will be making an appearance in the Chamber’s Annual Santa Parade. The parade winds through downtown Rockford. The jolly man in the red suit makes Rockford one his first stops on his world tour. More than 60 floats line the downtown streets to welcome Santa Claus.

Festivities in Lansing start with the Annual Silver Bells in the City always the Friday before Thanksgiving. The Silver Bells in the City is scheduled in downtown Lansing. in downtown Lansing. The lighting of Michigan’s official state Christmas tree will take place just after 7:30 p.m.

Christmas in Mackinaw is a magical event each holiday season. A Victorian Christmas in Mackinaw will be celebrated. Events will take place beginning at McGulpin Point Lighthouse and ending in Heritage Chapel in Heritage Village, both located about three miles west of Mackinaw City.

Immediately following the Northville Christmas Parade is a Tree Lighting Ceremony & Singalong, join in the fun while welcoming in the holidays.

The Community Tree Lighting ceremony always takes place on the first Friday of December. The St. Joseph High School Choir begins Christmas carols near the tree located at the corner of Broad and Lake Boulevard, St Joseph Michigan at 6 p.m. with the ceremony taking place at 6:30 p.m.

The annual Reindog Parade is a great time for all. This event features dressed up pets and their owners in a variety of holiday garb. Be prepared to see all kinds of costumes from “Santa Bernards” to “Reindeer Rottweilers” – definitely a must-see event! The event also marks the arrival of Santa.
