Harrison, Michigan can't wait for spring to golf! Each year in February they dust off their golf clubs and invite visitors to play in this uproarious golf tournament on frozen Budd Lake in downtown Harrison. This fun event is played with tennis balls on a 9-hole course.

Stroll the gently-lit pathway each evening. Meet Santa’s reindeer, and listen to carolers sing the songs of the season. Be sure to warm up in the festive conservatory and experience a dramatic display of poinsettias, while enjoying the merry sound of a live string quartet.

Experience a dazzling 110-acre display of annuals and perennials punctuated by distinctive bridges, towering pines, and delightful water features. A variety of tours are available to fit your needs and group size!

The Red Barn Tree Farm is a Bennett Family adventure. It’s something we’ve been slowly planning and working on for about 20 years. Now that we’re finally up and going, we would like to invite you to come create some memories and become part of our Christmas Family.

Open Mid September through October (check website for details). Admission to the Wild Pumpkin includes our Petting farm, Wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins and to the corn maze, the Corn maze, our Playground, Corn box and Hay maze!

Midland City Forest offers wonderful cross country skiing on groomed trails for classic and skate skiing. Trails are designed for skiiers of all levels, from beginner to an advanced 11k loop. A .7 mile beginner trail is lighted from dusk until 8 p.m. every evening. Routes and distances can be obtained by clicking on the map to the right.

Looking for the best Toboggan runs in Michigan? Check out The Toboggan Run at City Forest in Midland Michigan each run is over a tenth of a mile in length!

Snow Snake Ski and Golf has been serving Michigan since 1949. The Brockway family has owned and operated Snow Snake since 1957. There are six lifts serving 10 runs, including numerous terrain features, and a snow tubing park on 43 acres. The ski season runs November through March, weather permitting.

Santa's arrival, holiday-themed activities throughout Clare!

The premier ice fishing festival in north central Michigan that happens Friday, Saturday and Sunday, on the last two weekends in January. The festival is held at the southern DNR boat launch, off of M-55 near the Pines theater and Pineview Golf Course.

We will have pumpkin painting, hayrides, pumpkin picking, animals, barrel train and more. Mark your calendars to join us!

Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival invites you to witness hometown hospitality at it’s best and join us for this annual spring festival in the "sweetest" little town anywhere around! It was 1958 when the earliest Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival was held in Shepherd.

45,000-square-foot indoor waterpark designed for toddlers, tweens, teens, and adults. It will feature a waver rider, one body slide, one bowl slide, a rock climbing wall, lazy river, children's play area and a private adult pool, hot tub & sauna.

In operation since 1876, the lighthouse is the feature of the Tawas Point State Park, situated on a 200 acre peninsula that defines the southeast boundary of Tawas Bay. The 70 foot lighthouse is open for tours six days a week from May through September.

May 28 & 29, 2023

Held on the Saturday and Sunday of the Memorial Weekend Holiday, this year’s show will host over 100 crafter booths in Shoreline Park in Tawas City, right off of US-23. Be sure to come out and browse through their beautiful and unique hand-made arts and crafts.
