Great family fun during the winter months! Groomed specifically for snow tubing, riders will speed down one of many thrilling 16 ft wide sculpted snow lanes as you drop 50-60 feet over a course of 500-600 feet. A magic carpet uphill conveyor lift transports riders to the top of the hill.

Festivities in Lansing start with the Annual Silver Bells in the City always the Friday before Thanksgiving. The Silver Bells in the City is scheduled in downtown Lansing. in downtown Lansing. The lighting of Michigan’s official state Christmas tree will take place just after 7:30 p.m.

The annual Michigan JazzFest will take in the streets of Old Town, surrounded by the best of the Capital City's art galleries as well as unique retail stores and grand architecture. Its stages will offer outstanding talent, from local favorites to regional and national acts.

A 100-acre park in South Lansing; Hawk Island Park features year round outdoor fun. In warm weather months, visitors can enjoy pedal boat rentals, a swimming beach and beach house, concession stand, Splash Pad®, picnicking, a playground, sand volleyball and horseshoes.

Thousands of lights create extraordinary animal exhibits and holiday displays at the annual Wonderland of Lights! There will be cookies, crafts and animal encounters for the kids to enjoy!

Potter Park Zoo is located along the Red Cedar River, in Lansing Michigan. The Zoo encompasses over 20 acres and features more than 500 individual animals representing approximately 160 different species, plus playground, picnic areas, pony and camel rides, petting zoo, gardens and more. The zoo is open from April 1 - October 31.

Purchase a Season Punch pass for all three (3) shows (includes dinner) and save $5! Season Punch Passes have 3 punches. Only one punch can be used for the musical. You will still need to call for reservations and then "pay" at the door by getting your pass punched.

Taps 25 is a cozy little beer bar located in the shadow of the state capitol. We serve craft beer, good spirits and decent grub. We have five TVs (which is quite a few for such a cozy joint), a foosball table and a staff that knows beer.

Delta Mills Park was the Township’s first park facility. Phase I was started on 14.3 acres of property purchased for future expansion of the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Recreation Bond Funds have been utilized along with donations and general fund monies to acquire additional property. Presently 32.2 acres are available for usage.

Cooley Gardens belongs to the City of Lansing and is located just south of Lansing's central business district at Capitol Ave and Main St. Cooley Gardens is an eclectic garden, typical of formal estate gardens in the early part of the 20th century. It is composed of garden rooms enclosed by shrubbery, each with a different theme of planting.

Chisholm Hills Banquet Center is a brand new facility as of the summer of 2004. The facility is capable of holding events from 25 to 400 guests. Welcome to the Children’s Ballet Theatre! Dedicated to quality, youth-oriented ballet, this independent, non-profit company includes children from ages 8 to 18. Dancers study technique at their regular home dance studios, then work with the company to create memorable, fun performances.

Central Park is home to the Chemical City Band concerts during the summer months, which are held on Wednesday nights at 8:00 pm in the Ted Nicholson band shell. This 18-acre park also offers a fitness course, a softball field, four tennis courts and picnic tables and benches.

When CATA began in 1972, it operated 14 bus routes and gave 750,000 rides. The number of bus routes has doubled since then. In 2012, CATA had a record high ridership of 11.9 million rides.
