Great family fun during the winter months! Groomed specifically for snow tubing, riders will speed down one of many thrilling 16 ft wide sculpted snow lanes as you drop 50-60 feet over a course of 500-600 feet. A magic carpet uphill conveyor lift transports riders to the top of the hill.

Lansing Winterfest turns downtown Lansing into a fun outdoor winter celebration, consisting of over a dozen public art sculptures, crafted from ice. Four of these frozen installations will be carved live over the course of this frosty fiesta!
A 100-acre park in South Lansing; Hawk Island Park features year round outdoor fun. In warm weather months, visitors can enjoy pedal boat rentals, a swimming beach and beach house, concession stand, Splash Pad®, picnicking, a playground, sand volleyball and horseshoes.

Delta Mills Park was the Township’s first park facility. Phase I was started on 14.3 acres of property purchased for future expansion of the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Recreation Bond Funds have been utilized along with donations and general fund monies to acquire additional property. Presently 32.2 acres are available for usage.
Cooley Gardens belongs to the City of Lansing and is located just south of Lansing's central business district at Capitol Ave and Main St. Cooley Gardens is an eclectic garden, typical of formal estate gardens in the early part of the 20th century. Welcome to the Children’s Ballet Theatre! Dedicated to quality, youth-oriented ballet, this independent, non-profit company includes children from ages 8 to 18. Dancers study technique at their regular home dance studios, then work with the company to create memorable, fun performances.
Central Park is home to the Chemical City Band concerts during the summer months, which are held on Wednesday nights at 8:00 pm in the Ted Nicholson band shell. This 18-acre park also offers a fitness course, a softball field, four tennis courts and picnic tables and benches.
When CATA began in 1972, it operated 14 bus routes and gave 750,000 rides. The number of bus routes has doubled since then. In 2012, CATA had a record high ridership of 11.9 million rides.
