The Annual Holiday Light Parade is presented annually by the Williamston Area Chamber of Commerce, thousands of people come out every year to enjoy the parade and visit with Santa Claus. The parade will go east on Grand River Avenue, and continue to Taylor.

There is something for everyone at the popular annual Winter Glow event – East Lansing’s free, outdoor winter festival in downtown East Lansing with a wide variety of fun-filled seasonal activities.

Come stroll downtown and visit your favorite shops. We are featuring luminaries decorated! Black Friday/Small Business Saturday starting at 10 am, Luminaries at 5 pm, Window Display Contest. Santa Parade, Tree Lighting Ceremony after the parade.

Santa Claus arrives in Downtown Holland during the annual Parade of Lights, escorted by 75 floats, trucks, antique cars, walkers and marching bands...all decked out from top to bottom in thousands of sparkling lights! This brightly lit holiday procession is fun for the entire family and a holiday tradition for the entire community!

Third Weekend in September

Romulus Pumpkin Festival in Romulus, MI is a three day street festival on the third weekend in September. It starts with a night “parade of lights”. The annual Pumpkin Festival is a three-day event that begins with a night parade where everything is lighted from bicycles to cement trucks.

The Posen Potato Festival is held annually the first weekend after Labor Day, Friday-Sunday. The Posen Potato Festival is fun for the whole family. We have good food, good music, carnival, arts & crafts, plus much more. Our grand parade is always on Sunday, and you don’t want to miss that!

Apple & BBQ Cook-Off Festival

Come enjoy this Fall Festival highlighting the Michigan Sanctioned Kansas City BBQ Cook-Off Competition & farm fresh apples of Oceana County. Festival is held in the business district of Silver Lake Sand Dunes located six miles west of US-31 at the Hart/Mears exit 149.

The Kalamazoo River Valley Trail is free to use and has a paved-asphalt surface that is 12-feet wide. It's a multi-purpose trail for non-motorized transportation and recreation. Once complete, the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail will encompass 35 miles of trail throughout Kalamazoo County.

Saginaw Valley Rail Trail is 9.2-mile trail is a great choice for your year around recreation. The Saginaw Valley Rail Trail always beautiful, but especially so in autumn when fall foliage is reaching peak colors.

Each summer ends with the Houghton County Fair in Hancock Michigan, the weekend before Labor Day weekend. It offers a great opportunity to come out and have a great time with friends and family with entertainment ranging from livestock shows, demolition and off road derby. The annual Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair at the Petoskey Fairgrounds kicks off for the public on Tuesday and runs through Sunday. The Grandstand at the Fair is where the BIG excitement takes place, Tuesday through Saturday night, every year!
