Experience Santa's Farm during the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the Christmas season!

The farm is on full on holiday mode for this stroll through event where you will get to see how Santa has transformed the farm into his headquarters preparing for the big day.

JULY 4 @ 9:00 AM

This annual event held on the 4th of July! Professional stone skippers will bring their best skipping skills and compete for the much coveted trophy! There will also be a Gerplunking Division (age 5 & under), a Pebbles Division (ages 6-12), and an Open Division (age 13 & up).

Day after Thanksgiving through January 1, 2023

The Colors of Christmas is a drive-thru wonderland of lights and Christmas displays. Every night from 6:00pm to 11:00pm starting day after Thanksgiving through January 1st!

Great family fun during the winter months! Groomed specifically for snow tubing, riders will speed down one of many thrilling 16 ft wide sculpted snow lanes as you drop 50-60 feet over a course of 500-600 feet. A magic carpet uphill conveyor lift transports riders to the top of the hill.

December 7–9 & 14–16, 2023 | 5–8 p.m.

Stroll the gently-lit pathway each evening. Meet Santa’s reindeer, and listen to carolers sing the songs of the season. Be sure to warm up in the festive conservatory and experience a dramatic display of poinsettias, while enjoying the merry sound of a live string quartet.

Freshest Donuts - It's always time to make the donuts in the Bonadeo Farms kitchen. You can even watch your donuts being made right in front of you.

February 2-4, 2024

Join us for the annual Ice Fest sponsored by Silver Beach Pizza to celebrate the winter season! It’s a weekend that brings frosty fun to downtown St. Joe. Enjoy professional Ice Carving Competitions, a SnowBiz Scavenger Hunt, Ice Interactives and more!

2nd & 3rd Weekends of February

Pentwater’s Winterfest is the second and third weeks in February and includes a fishing tournament, the Snowman Scram 5K and opportunities to go cross-country skiing in the Pere Marquette State Forest.

September and October

Each fall Cranes Orchard opens up with great activities for you and your family. The Crane Orchard corn maze is always top rated. Add in the cow train which is a great time for kids. Hint, hint - it’s a train of cows, and the kids love it! And nothing short of picking apples can be as fun as experiencing a tractor driven hayride with family.

The Red Barn Tree Farm is a Bennett Family adventure. It’s something we’ve been slowly planning and working on for about 20 years. Now that we’re finally up and going, we would like to invite you to come create some memories and become part of our Christmas Family.

Open Mid September through October (check website for details). Admission to the Wild Pumpkin includes our Petting farm, Wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins and to the corn maze, the Corn maze, our Playground, Corn box and Hay maze!

The Onekama Fall Festival takes place every year in the Village Park with lots of free activities and fun! Featuring scarecrows, hay rides, pumpkin decorating and events.
This event is fun for the whole family.

Nothing pairs better with fall leaves than a hot coffee and roaring waterfalls. Did you know that Upper Michigan autumns easily rival those of the east coast? With our hundreds of thousands of acres of pristine forests, it's no wonder locals tolerate the harsh winters for such a treat.

From the beginning in 1957 Dorie and Nub Sarns knew that this hill in the great Michigan outdoors was going to be some place special. They cleared the trees and installed a double chairlift, and opened for business. In 1964 the slope "Crazy Otto" opened named after the groomer Otto Washburn.

The cool streets of South Haven will be blazing during the HOTTEST winter festival around!

Located in Oakland County between Detroit and Flint, Pine Knob is your destination ski resort in Southeast Michigan. Whether you are a beginner or expert, family or individual, we are the place for you to enjoy the slopes this season.

Midland City Forest offers wonderful cross country skiing on groomed trails for classic and skate skiing. Trails are designed for skiiers of all levels, from beginner to an advanced 11k loop. A .7 mile beginner trail is lighted from dusk until 8 p.m. every evening. Routes and distances can be obtained by clicking on the map to the right.

1st Weekend of October

Scarecrow Festival is a family event for all ages – a fall festival featuring Scarecrow Contest | Dog Costume contest | children’s area with games/rides carnival | local and regional musical acts | Scarecrow Idol contest, and many other events.

Snow Tubing at Timberlee Hills is the perfect way to spend the day with your whole family in Traverse City this winter. It’s all the fun of sledding – without hiking back up the hill!

Ice Skating
Enjoy a picturesque, winter tradition and hours of outdoor fun ice-skating at Kensington Metropark. The rink is located at the Orchard Picnic area near the picnic shelter, not far from the sledding hills! There is a small walkway mat from shelter to the rink. The rink is open when ice conditions permit.
