Most people just say "Ypsi" for Ypsilanti Michigan. Ypsilanti is named for the Greek patriot General Demetrius Ypsilanti, a heroic figure in the battle that the Greeks were fighting against Turkish tyranny - a struggle for freedom that many Americans likened to our own.

The Rolling Hills Park sledding hill is 275 feet People sledding in length with a large flat area at the bottom and fenced return paths on either side so you can safely climb the hill and ride again. The 70 foot width at the top of the hill is wide enough to spread out and accommodate various levels of thrill seekers.

Wiard's Cider Mill and Apple Orchard was founded in Michigan by George Wiard in 1837. Visitors can enjoy u-pick apples, u-pick pumpkin patch, drink delicious cider, roam through a corn maze, climb on a hayride, or reserve a field trip, Wiard’s is the orchard for you.

Beware! This is not your average haunted house! The acres of Wiard's Orchards south of Ypsilanti Township, Michigan (near Ann Arbor, in Washtenaw County) are truly haunted. The history of these lands has lived in haunted houses of Michigan lore for centuries.
