What to See and Do in Region 3 -Kalamazoo Area

Echo Valley Kalamazoo's Premier Winter Sports Park where you race 60 mph down one of eight ¼ mile long tracks on ultra-fast toboggans. Enjoy the 500-foot tubing hill. The warming lodge offers a fireplace, snack bar and viewing platform. Tubes and toboggans are free with admission. Ice skate rentals are available.

Challenging enlarged Terrain Park which features a quarter-pipe and more terrain for skiers and boarders this season. 15 trails that cascade over beautifully wooded hills. Pumpkin Park for riders to learn new skills and work on new tricks. Five chairlifts, five surface tows, snowmaking, night skiing and snow tubing.

Ice Competitions - Friday & Saturday
Watch carvers magically turn frozen blocks into works of art! Friday evening the Professional Individual Competition will run from 5:30pm-7:30pm along Pleasant Street. On Saturday, the Professional Team Competition will run from 8am-4pm along State Street.

Pronking Acres Alpaca Farm is a small huacaya alpaca farm in southwest Michigan. We are choosing alpacas based on getting the finest fiber available! By choosing with a discriminating eye, you know that the alpacas you see here and the products we sell are only the best!

Surfari Joe’s offers a year round, 20,000 square foot indoor waterpark! Surfari Joe’s features two extreme water slides for the adventurous, a lazy river without piranha for a relaxing float.

Baroda Founders Wine Cellar is located in the heart of southwest Michigan, known as one of the best grape growing regions of the world. Our main winery in Paw Paw offers free tours year-round. Monday thru Saturday, tours will be given daily beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (no tour at 12:00 p.m.). On Sunday, tours run daily beginning at 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (all times EST). All ages are welcome and our facility is handicap accessible.

Cody Kresta is a small family-run farm winery located on 20 acres of land in the Lake Michigan Shore Appellation in Mattawan, Michigan. The owners, David and Mary Lou, share two great passions – crafting distinctive southwestern Michigan wines and living in harmony with the land they love.

Third generation wine maker, Tony Peterson, perfected his craft while working many years as an apprentice in his father's winery. All the while, he dreamed of creating an experience that would incorporate the traditional art of wine making, old world charm and the very best of modern amenities.

Domaine Berrien Cellars is situated on an 80 acre farm located in Berrien County, Michigan, in the heart of scenic Lake Michigan Shore Wine Country. Our vineyard development began in 1992 when Thomas & Abigail Fricke purchased the property, which was all planted in tart cherry trees at the time.
