Welcome to Montrose Orchards! Still owned and operated by the Hill family, Montrose Orchards is a third generation farm. The orchard is nearly 200 acres strong with primary crops being apples, pumpkins, pears, asparagus, blueberries, strawberries, and cherries. |

Don and Eleanor Iott, both retired educators, own and operate Nottawa Fruit Farm. Although "Farming" in the Nottawa area can be traced back several generations on Eleanor's side, the retail business was begun with the planting of one-half acre of strawberries and then selling them from a card table in their front yard. |

Originally run as a wholesale fruit and vegetable farm, the young Becks found it hard to make ends meet in the depressed wholesale market. Gallagher's Farm Market was opened in 1971 by Jack and Bernie Gallagher. For the past 40 years has been run by their daughter, Maria Lammers, with her husband Sid and their family. The farm market opens in June of each year as local asparagus and strawberries become available, and remains open through October. |
