The UP200 is one of the top 12-dog mid-distance races in the Midwest, as well as being an Iditarod qualifier. The UP200 trail covers 230 miles of challenging terrain from Marquette to Grand Marais, Michigan and back again through forested land and near-wilderness. Mushers face hills, creek crossings, deep snow, and isolated trail.

Nothing pairs better with fall leaves than a hot coffee and roaring waterfalls. Did you know that Upper Michigan autumns easily rival those of the east coast? With our hundreds of thousands of acres of pristine forests, it's no wonder locals tolerate the harsh winters for such a treat.

We are located in the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We have 25 acres of sheared Spruce and Balsam available for choose and cut customers. Directions From Iron Mountain, Mi., take M-95 to M-69 east to Foster City. Turn North at gas station on Harry Peterson Road one mile.

The West Tour is another scenic fall tour as travelers drive south from Marquette on US-41 and turn in at the entrance of the Nordic Bay. Stay to your left on the Cliff Tower Road and follow the signs up Mount Marquette for a panoramic look of Marquette.
