Fifteen years prior to being bitten with the fruit passion, Stan Pankiewicz worked in a nearby apple orchard. He started there in 1969 and worked for several years for an elderly man named Harvey. It was a way for Stan to make a supplemental income for his growing family.

Open from May through October depending on the picking seasons. Ed Dunneback & Girls Farm Market have fruits and vegetables available in season, both already-picked or u-pick.

Offering 20 acres of choose-&-cut or fresh pre-cut Christmas trees from the following varieties: Colorado Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir and Scotch Pine. Garland, wreaths and living trees also available. Saws, shaking and wrapping service. We may be small, but our well-groomed farm and beautiful trees are sure to keep you coming back.

The premier ice fishing festival in north central Michigan that happens Friday, Saturday and Sunday, on the last two weekends in January. The festival is held at the southern DNR boat launch, off of M-55 near the Pines theater and Pineview Golf Course.

December 7, 2019

The Annual Holiday Light Parade is presented annually by the Williamston Area Chamber of Commerce, thousands of people come out every year to enjoy the parade and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The parade will go east on Grand River Avenue, and continue to Taylor. The floats will be judges in seven categories, including Spirit of Christmas.

Enjoy Hayrides at Fun Pumpkins, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch where 30 varieties of pumpkins grow. Pumpkins ready to be carved with faces for jack-o’-lanterns, stewed with spices, baked into pies, or stacked into decorative towers.

Echo Valley Kalamazoo's Premier Winter Sports Park where you race 60 mph down one of eight ¼ mile long tracks on ultra-fast toboggans. Enjoy the 500-foot tubing hill. The warming lodge offers a fireplace, snack bar and viewing platform. Tubes and toboggans are free with admission. Ice skate rentals are available.

White Lake Area Christmas Parade with over 50 participants will line up and follow the parade route from Whitehall to Montague along Business 31/Colby Street. The American Legion and VFW will lead the event dressed in their finest, along with our proud Christmas Parade Title Sponsor, Shepherd & Shepherd Law, The parade begins at 2pm.

Saturday - January 5, 2019

(TCSDR) was founded in 1999, operated by volunteers to promote, conduct and support mid-distance sled dog racing in the Midwestern United States and Canada. The race attracts mushers from all over the United States, as well as Canada, South Africa and New Zealand.



At Fruit Ridge Hayrides, we are happy to offer a variety of old fashion farm activities for you to enjoy with your friends and family. For year -round fun,try a horse drawn hayride or sleigh ride through our woods and orchard. Family reunions, school groups, church youth groups and corporate picnics are always welcome.
