Get ready to celebrate the Anniversary of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge, right here in Houghton-Hancock, Michigan. Bridgefest was organized to celebrate the Portage Lake Lift Bridge, which officially opened in 1959.

Over 200 vendors gather in Historic Downtown Coldwater MI for this annual event. It will feature strawberries, craft & food vendors, live music, and more! This event is FREE to the public.

4D Acre Farm Maple Syrup began making maple syrup in 2010. We made a homemade evaporator out of an old water tank. The syrup pan on top we borrowed from our friends. In 2012, we bought a used 2 1/2' x 8' wood fired evaporator. Every year we add and/or change things.

Britt Family website states that the public is welcome to stop by our sugar house during the syrup season and see the maple syrup production process. If you are driving a distance to see the operation in action, it is always best to call first to make sure we are home.
