Third Weekend in September

Romulus Pumpkin Festival in Romulus, MI is a three day street festival on the third weekend in September. It starts with a night “parade of lights”. The annual Pumpkin Festival is a three-day event that begins with a night parade where everything is lighted from bicycles to cement trucks.

At Boyne Mountain we love October for one reason...it means it's almost winter! Okay, so we also like when the leaves change color, that there are pumpkins and mums on every corner, and the taste of a nice fall Michigan brew. We like all of these things so much, that we decided to throw an epic party to celebrate!

September is the official month that Michigan Apple Fest hosted in Sparta (just 10 minutes north of Grand Rapids)! It is a family oriented event celebrating the harvest of fresh fruits and vegetables grown on “the Ridge” near Sparta, Michigan, the heart of Apple country.

Blake’s Monster Dash is a 5k run on gravel trails around the family-owned 800-acre Blake Farm. The 5k race will take you through our haunted hayride and zombie paintball scenes with live actors.

Labor Day - First week of November

Since 1977, Plymouth Orchards & Cider Mill has been the local cider mill for families to enjoy fresh-pressed apple cider, fresh-made donuts, crispy caramel apples, icy apple cider slushies, fresh organic apples, baked pies and a fun farm experience.

With a history that dates back to 1863, Yates Grist Mill opened its doors beside the rapidly flowing waters of the ‘then’ Clinton-Kalamazoo Canal. Amidst the beautiful countryside of Rochester, Michigan the memories began in full bloom.

Established in 1813, Westview Orchards is still operated by the same family. We strive to grow high quality fruits and vegetables that you look for. You can pick our fruits, vegetables and sunflowers right from our orchards and fields or right from our Farm Market, Spring through Early Winter.
