An Artisan's Approach... We are dedicated to making wines that reflect the unique character and quality of our vineyard and the vineyards of Michigan. Whether carefully sourcing grapes from top sites in the state or from our own vineyard, our winery was built on the belief that great wines begin in the vineyard.

Our story started 20 years ago visiting Leland as a family for the first time. The simplicity and beauty of the “tucked away” secret that is Leelanau has always been what we treasure most about the area.

One of a kind location, come and visit or warm tasting room. The regions first (and only) totally Certified Organic Vineyard, Orchards & Winery and NOW Leelanau's FIRST Micro Brewery. Serving crafted beers made by Guest Brewers.

Shanty Creek is a four-season resort featuring 72 holes of championship golf on four courses (Cedar River, The Legend, Schuss Mountain and Summit), 53 ski runs on two mountains (Schuss Mountain and Summit Mountain), 30km of cross-country skiing, a 6-lane alpine tubing park, winter sleigh rides, and Michigan’s most awarded terrain parks.

You’re away from everyday stressors and pressure…at the edge of the water, with people you enjoy and doing what you want. You are relaxed, maybe enjoying a sunset or the sand between your toes. Just add a glass of Skipping Stone Cellars wine to make it perfect.

Dave and Jane were introduced to Leelanau County in the late 1980’s when they stayed at Fountain Point Resort in Lake Leelanau. They never missed a year with their family at Fountain Point until 2002 when they built a second home in Leland. In 2004 Dave retired and they moved up to their home in Leland full time.

Every Summer in late June early July of the National Cherry Festival you will find cherry delights along with parades, family and kids events and entertainment. In all, there are more than 150 events along the shores of Lake Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay.

We're off the beaten path, a winery and vineyard that began with the premise that Bernie Rink's five sons needed something to do to stay out of trouble. In 1965, Bernie, then a librarian at Northwestern Michigan College, planted a one-acre test plot of wine grapes in Leelanau County to determine if commercial wine could be made locally.

Once upon a time a handsome young man named Patrick McGuire proposed marriage to his high school sweetheart, Sara Veliquette. She accepted and the two would marry the following Christmas. During their engagement many decisions would be made including where they would live and how they would make their living.

We are a small winery with a hand-crafted approach to winemaking, located on the same 45th Parallel that runs through some of the great wine regions of the world. We produce classic varietal wines and fruit brandies of high character and balance.

Our family at Bowers Harbor Vineyards invites you to explore the epic views of Lake Michigan and sample our award winning varietal wines. We are a boutique winery located in Northern Michigan on picturesque Old Mission Peninsula.

Gallagher's Farm Market was opened in 1971 by Jack and Bernie Gallagher. For the past 40 years has been run by their daughter, Maria Lammers, with her husband Sid and their family. The farm market opens in June of each year as local asparagus and strawberries become available, and remains open through October.
