Beaumont Tower is usually open to visitors during University Carillonneur Ray McLellan's weekly performances, which take place from noon to 12:30 p.m. on the day of student lessons.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University is committed to exploring international contemporary culture and ideas through art. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid, the museum features a striking façade of pleated stainless steel and glass, signaling the museum and the university’s dynamic vision.

When CATA began in 1972, it operated 14 bus routes and gave 750,000 rides. The number of bus routes has doubled since then. In 2012, CATA had a record high ridership of 11.9 million rides.

Central Park is home to the Chemical City Band concerts during the summer months, which are held on Wednesday nights at 8:00 pm in the Ted Nicholson band shell. This 18-acre park also offers a fitness course, a softball field, four tennis courts and picnic tables and benches.

Welcome to the Children’s Ballet Theatre! Dedicated to quality, youth-oriented ballet, this independent, non-profit company includes children from ages 8 to 18. Dancers study technique at their regular home dance studios, then work with the company to create memorable, fun performances.

Cooley Gardens belongs to the City of Lansing and is located just south of Lansing's central business district at Capitol Ave and Main St. Cooley Gardens is an eclectic garden, typical of formal estate gardens in the early part of the 20th century. It is composed of garden rooms enclosed by shrubbery, each with a different theme of planting.
