Michigan's Best Pumpkin Patches

Fruit Acres Farms is a 230 acre fruit farm owned by the same family since 1846. The current owners, Randy and Annette, are the 5th generation to operate the orchard. We grow Big black Sweet Peach trees in bloomCherries, Sour Pie Cherries, and Crisp Juicy Flavorful Apples.

U-pick five varieties of peaches, 10 varieties of apples, grapes (Concord), many sizes and shapes of pumpkins, squash and gourds. Dawn Redwood and Ginko Biloba trees.

Crops are usually available in August, September, October. Open: Monday - Thursday open by reservation or school field trips. Fridays we are open from 6:00 until 10:00p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 until 10:00 p.m.

In the Fall Bosserd Family Farm offers a variety of special fun activities for families, scouts, church groups, birthdays - and anyone else looking for something different on a brisk fall day.

The 2013 season is underway and fall will be here before you know it. We are excited for a new season and are looking forward to having a much more normal crop.

Husted's Farm is family owned and operated for over 45 years by Glenn and Scott Husted. We specialize in fruits and vegetables grown in southwest Michigan from June until November. Our excellent staff is able to create culinary delights from the freshest fruits and vegetables Michigan has to offer.

In 1918 our family built the Fruit House as a place to store and package fresh fruit for the wholesale market. We specialized in apples, but also grew peaches, cherries, strawberries, and raspberries. After wholesaling, we used the Fruit House as a packing facility and a retail outlet.



Don and Eleanor Iott, both retired educators, own and operate Nottawa Fruit Farm. Although "Farming" in the Nottawa area can be traced back several generations on Eleanor's side, the retail business was begun with the planting of one-half acre of strawberries and then selling them from a card table in their front yard.

Once upon a time a handsome young man named Patrick McGuire proposed marriage to his high school sweetheart, Sara Veliquette. She accepted and the two would marry the following Christmas. During their engagement many decisions would be made including where they would live and how they would make their living.
