Ice Skating
Enjoy a picturesque, winter tradition and hours of outdoor fun ice-skating at Kensington Metropark. The rink is located at the Orchard Picnic area near the picnic shelter, not far from the sledding hills! There is a small walkway mat from shelter to the rink. The rink is open when ice conditions permit.

Annual Fire & Ice Festival in Downtown Rochester is back for another year of family fun and festivities. Enjoy the ice sculptures along Main Street, tube sledding hill, ice skating rink, dog sled rides, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, fireworks, food trucks and tent and so much more!

Downtown Rochester is accepting applications from artists for the Snowman Stroll, a public art event that will bring (12) 5’ fiberglass snowmen to Main Street! The Snowman Stroll is open to all artists, whether professional or amateurs. Artists of all ages are encouraged to submit designs.

With a history that dates back to 1863, Yates Grist Mill opened its doors beside the rapidly flowing waters of the ‘then’ Clinton-Kalamazoo Canal. Amidst the beautiful countryside of Rochester, Michigan the memories began in full bloom.
The walk begins at the Montague Trail Head, located at the east end of Spring Street, behind Whitehall Products and Montague Foods. City officials and area leaders will walk with the people of the community across the White River Bridge to the Chamber of Commerce located at 124 W. Hanson St. in Whitehall.
