Iron River

Iron River

Nothing pairs better with fall leaves than a hot coffee and roaring waterfalls. Did you know that Upper Michigan autumns easily rival those of the east coast? With our hundreds of thousands of acres of pristine forests, it's no wonder locals tolerate the harsh winters for such a treat.

The annual Christmas in Lights celebration in downtown Iron River includes a Christmas Parade with lighted floats, bonfire and fireworks, live carolers, hot cocoa & cider and free cookies.

Ski Brule is located in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, just over the Wisconsin/Michigan border. A family ski vacation is only a short drive away.

ROUTE: The parade route will start at the Post Office and proceed down Genesee Street. We will not be allowing floats INTO the RV Park this year as we had a major pile up last year. SO, please continue on, parking your float on the street or in the First Lutheran Church Parking lot. Make it a full day of holiday festivities.

Welcome to your new favorite Northwoods destination! Let us treat you to the best of Yooper hospitality with wildlife & waterfalls, award-winning pizza & pasties, and unforgettable experiences to last a lifetime.

This fall and music festival is a free, family-friendly event featuring live music, kids games and crafts, trick-or-treating in the “haunted” campground, a spectacular bonfire, and a beer tent for the adult ghouls and boys.
