Flying Otter Winery

The family operated Flying Otter Vineyard & Winery is situated on a 55 acre estate in Southeast Michigan and features an outdoor Tasting Pavilion, open from April-October each year on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, offering tastings, entertainment, wine education courses, crafting activities, and more. Centrally located in Adrian, MI, the winery is less than 35 miles from Ann Arbor, Toledo and Jackson.

Wines are produced from grapes grown in the estate's vineyard (including the award winning Frontenac). Estate-grown grapes are farmed using sustainable vineyard practices, and a great deal of hand labor, from planting vines to harvesting. Using cold climate hybrid wine grapes that have been developed not only to survive Michigan's potentially harsh winters, but to actually thrive in our particular terroir, we produce some wonderful, unique tasting wines.
