The City of Escanaba builds and maintains two outdoor neighborhood ice skating rinks at Royce Park and at the Webster School. Escanaba’s neighborhood rinks are supervised during scheduled hours. Both rinks have warming shelters with skate changing areas and restrooms. Rinks are lighted during evening hours.

The Escanaba Cross Country Ski Trail, which is just under 7 miles of trails, can be accessed off of Comfort Suite’s parking lot or on North 30th Street. Skiers are welcome to utilize the pathway in Ludington Park which loops around the outer perimeter.

What an amazing destination! Delta County, home to Escanaba, Bark River, Gladstone, Rapid River, Nahma and Garden, is a Lake Michigan coastal paradise. Its 211 miles of varied shoreline is the most of any county in the continental U.S.
