Annual UP200 and Midnight Run

The dog sled races begin on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 with the opening ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Fourth Street and West Washington Street in beautiful Downtown Marquette. The first UP200 team leaves the chute at 7 p.m. amid the excited cheers of spectators lining the streets.

Marquette’s Showdown Rail Jam

North Front Street in Downtown Marquette will be buried in snow on Saturday, Feb. 4 for the fifth annual Downtown Showdown Rail Jam. The 100 and 200 blocks of North Front Street will serve as the location for the event and will bring the excitement of the ski hill to the historic streets of Downtown Marquette.
