Wintertime Events in Michigan

Echo Valley Kalamazoo's Premier Winter Sports Park where you race 60 mph down one of eight ¼ mile long tracks on ultra-fast toboggans. Enjoy the 500-foot tubing hill. The warming lodge offers a fireplace, snack bar and viewing platform. Tubes and toboggans are free with admission. Ice skate rentals are available.

2nd & 3rd weeks in February

Pentwater’s Winterfest is the second and third weeks in February and includes a fishing tournament, the Snowman Scram 5K and opportunities to go cross-country skiing in the Pere Marquette State Forest.

January 11-20, 2019

Annual Kalamazoo Beer Week connects craft breweries w/ local restaurants & retailers for unique, educational experiences.

Crossroads Village & the Huckleberry Railroad is an authentic Great Lakes town from the turn of the last century, with over 34 historic structures and a thriving community to welcome you. Ride the Huckleberry Railroad, catch a show at the Colwell Opera House or learn a trade from one of our craftspeople.

There’s no time for the Winter Blues in the Alpine Village! Our community is bustling with frosty fun this February, as we present the Annual Alpenfrost.

Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 1:00-6:00 pm.

Annual Suds & Snow is back for an afternoon filled with beer, wine & cider. There will also be a wide selection of eats from local restaurants & food trucks, and tons of winter fun. The perfect winter combination! The event is for guests 21+. There will be non-alcoholic beverage options available.
