Michigan's scenic vineyards cover four certified American Viticulture areas offering a number of unique boutiques you won't find in other parts of the world.

Michigan ranks number 5 in wine production in the United States. There are currently over 100 commercial wineries and 150 wine tasting rooms. Thanks to its unique microclimate the Region 9 -Traverse City area is producing some of the freshest tasting wines in the country.

2 Lads Winery is a 10,500 square foot facility located on 58 acres on the Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, Michigan. We currently have 22 acres of established vineyards in three separate blocks that were planted in 1999,2001 and 2008.

Our main winery in Paw Paw offers free tours year-round. Monday thru Saturday, tours will be given daily beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (no tour at 12:00 p.m.). On Sunday, tours run daily beginning at 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (all times EST). All ages are welcome and our facility is handicap accessible.

For nearly a century, West Michigan has been the home to some of the most productive and picturesque fruit farms in the Midwest. Lake Michigan's "lake effect" has sheltered the fruit of our region from the harshness of winter -- blanketing the fruit vines with snow and providing slightly warmer temperatures.

Beautiful Lake (in Italian) … Bel Lago wines are made from grapes grown in family-owned vineyards overlooking Lake Leelanau and Lake Michigan. Bel Lago Vineyards and Winery was founded in 1987 by Domenic, Ruth, and Amy Iezzoni and Charles Edson.

Our distinctive Inn, nestled below a hillside of vineyards and overlooking barns and pastures, features luxurious guest rooms with an exceptional package of services and amenities. We are proud to be a Select Registry “Distinguished Inn of North America.”

You are welcome to host your event at our unique property, Black Star Farms. Whether you are planning a meeting, a small gathering or a big celebration, we have the venue at our Suttons Bay farm to fit your needs.

Our story started 20 years ago visiting Leland as a family for the first time. The simplicity and beauty of the “tucked away” secret that is Leelanau has always been what we treasure most about the area.

Dave and Jane were introduced to Leelanau County in the late 1980’s when they stayed at Fountain Point Resort in Lake Leelanau. They never missed a year with their family at Fountain Point until 2002 when they built a second home in Leland. In 2004 Dave retired and they moved up to their home in Leland full time.
