Holiday Lasers on the Ore Dock will once again turn Marquette’s century-old Lower Harbor Ore Dock into the backdrop of a holiday light display. The show will kick off on Thanksgiving and run on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights through New Year’s Eve.

Downtown Rochester is accepting applications from artists for the Snowman Stroll, a public art event that will bring (12) 5’ fiberglass snowmen to Main Street! The Snowman Stroll is open to all artists, whether professional or amateurs. Artists of all ages are encouraged to submit designs.

Family fun tradition since 1980! Kick off your holiday season with the Fantasy of Lights! Enjoy local dining and shopping, meet Santa and his reindeer and watch one of the longest running holiday parades in the area!

Our 150-acre Choose-N-Cut is open 7 days a week from the day after Thanksgiving until just before Christmas. We have free popcorn and tractor-drawn wagon rides every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and free horse-drawn wagon rides and Santa Claus during the first two weekends after Thanksgiving.

Candlelight Hike

Join Charlevoix Recreation and Visit Charlevoix and experience the magic of snowshoeing, hiking or cross-country skiing on candle-lit trails. You set your own pace on this self-guided journey. Follow the candlelight to a roaring fire and hot chocolate. The hike will begin at the sledding hill parking lot. The event takes place between 5 - 8 PM.

Since 1978 The Boss Family Christmas Display has filled our hearts with holiday spirit. Many have grown up visiting each year. The display includes both nostalgic and current characters. The Colors of Christmas is a drive-thru wonderland of lights and Christmas displays. Every night from 6:00pm to 11:00pm starting the day after Thanksgiving until January 1 - the Croton Township Campground will be open for you and your family to drive through or hike through "The Colors of Christmas" light displays.
