Lansing is of course the Michigan State Capitol with a beautiful historic building that in itself is a tourist attraction and a must see for you and your family. As you travel towards Saginaw there are many must see's including the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square and the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum help make this region a favorite destination for the family vacation.

Saginaw County Fair is a family friendly event a full schedule including racing and a rodeo, live entertainment and food and fireworks every night!

Shiawassee County Fair provides a fun environment for the community and youth. Come enjoy the beautiful fairgrounds, with a carnival midway, livestock, and premiere grand stand events!

The Allen Market Place (AMP) is the first non-profit food hub in Mid-Michigan with an incubator kitchen and the “Exchange”— Open for Business! Welcome to the East Lansing Family Aquatic Center. This beautiful outdoor water facility provides a safe, family oriented aquatic experience for our community.

The Ingham County Fair in Mason,Michigan is filled with wonderful memories and time spent with family and friends! The annual fair is a wonderful celebration of our heritage and the volunteers that have helped make the Fair what it is today!

The annual Michigan JazzFest will take in the streets of Old Town, surrounded by the best of the Capital City's art galleries as well as unique retail stores and grand architecture. Its stages will offer outstanding talent, from local favorites to regional and national acts.

BAD Brewing Company is a small Microbrewery located in downtown Mason, MI which opened in the July of 2012. Our list of beers includes at least 4 house beers that will be on tap at all times with several more on a rotating basis. All of the beers are hand crafted by the owner, and new recipes are always in the works.

Water sports, bonfires, friends, family, cookouts, and music are what The Grand Fish encompass.

Taps 25 is a cozy little beer bar located in the shadow of the state capitol. We serve craft beer, good spirits and decent grub. We have five TVs (which is quite a few for such a cozy joint), a foosball table and a staff that knows beer.

The Red Cedar Jubilee features parades as well as craft shows, an enduro derby, lawn mower races, a duck drop and a food and beverage tent with live music.

Historic Baldwin Park is the smallest of the Ingham County recreational jewels. Located along the Grand River, the park is named after the Baldwin family, early settlers from New York State and was probably used by local Native Americans as a camping ground, due to its favorable location.

From the nine-hole layout of the 70’ to the current 27-hole Jerry Matthews reconfiguration completed in 1996, Eldorado has truly come of age. The large multi-level driving range and clubhouse, which seats up to 250 provides a clean, comfortable place to relax.

In the past forty years the Michigan State Trust for Railway Preservation and its Steam Railroading Institute have grown tremendously, now housing two steam locomotives, two diesel locomotives, and a fleet of passenger cars, plus numerous pieces of rolling stock.
