Welcome to Montrose Orchards! Still owned and operated by the Hill family, Montrose Orchards is a third generation farm. The orchard is nearly 200 acres strong with primary crops being apples, pumpkins, pears, asparagus, blueberries, strawberries, and cherries.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University is committed to exploring international contemporary culture and ideas through art. Central Park is home to the Chemical City Band concerts during the summer months, which are held on Wednesday nights at 8:00 pm in the Ted Nicholson band shell. This 18-acre park also offers a fitness course, a softball field, four tennis courts and picnic tables and benches.

The Saginaw Valley Rail Trail covers 9.55 miles of abandoned rail corridor in Saginaw County, stretching from St. Charles to Saginaw. It incorporates a number of natural features including: seven bridges over various rivers and creeks, The Shiawassee State Game Area and many wetland areas.

Public planetarium shows, featuring the Digistar II projector, are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 P.M., and Sundays at 4:00 P.M.
