As you travel towards Saginaw there are many must see's including the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square and the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum help make this region a favorite destination for the family vacation.

What to See and Do in Region 5 Lansing to Saginaw Area

Historic Baldwin Park is the smallest of the Ingham County recreational jewels. Located along the Grand River, the park is named after the Baldwin family, early settlers from New York State and was probably used by local Native Americans as a camping ground, due to its favorable location.

In the past forty years the Michigan State Trust for Railway Preservation and its Steam Railroading Institute have grown tremendously, now housing two steam locomotives, two diesel locomotives, and a fleet of passenger cars, plus numerous pieces of rolling stock.

Saginaw Valley Rail Trail is 9.2-mile trail is a great choice for your year around recreation. The Saginaw Valley Rail Trail always beautiful, but especially so in autumn when fall foliage is reaching peak colors.
