From Lansing to Saginaw - Michigan Life's Region 5 is full of exciting attractions and our State Capitol is in this region. Lansing is of course the Michigan State Capitol with a beautiful historic building that in itself is a tourist attraction and a must see for you and your family. As you travel towards Saginaw there are many must see's including the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square and the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum help make this region a favorite destination for the family vacation.

What to See and Do in Region 5 Lansing to Saginaw Area

Taps 25 is a cozy little beer bar located in the shadow of the state capitol. We serve craft beer, good spirits and decent grub. We have five TVs (which is quite a few for such a cozy joint), a foosball table and a staff that knows beer.

Delta Mills Park was the Township’s first park facility. Phase I was started on 14.3 acres of property purchased for future expansion of the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Recreation Bond Funds have been utilized along with donations and general fund monies to acquire additional property. Presently 32.2 acres are available for usage.

Saginaw Valley Rail Trail is 9.2-mile trail is a great choice for your year around recreation. The Saginaw Valley Rail Trail always beautiful, but especially so in autumn when fall foliage is reaching peak colors.
