Lansing is of course the Michigan State Capitol with a beautiful historic building that in itself is a tourist attraction and a must see for you and your family. As you travel towards Saginaw there are many must see's including the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square and the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum help make this region a favorite destination for the family vacation.

Potter Park Zoo is located along the Red Cedar River, in Lansing Michigan. Potter Park Zoo is a 20 acre zoo within an 80 acre park located in the capital city of Lansing, Michigan. With over 500 animal residents there is always something new and exciting to see.

Impression 5 Science Center is a dynamic, interactive space for families to play, create, and challenge their understanding of science. Our mission is to facilitate learners in scientific exploration through hands-on exhibits and participatory educational programming.

Rediscover the wonders of the universe at Abrams Planetarium. The sky theatre features fantastic star shows produced by a computer graphics star projector. The planetarium also serves as an astronomy and space science education resource center.

Each season brings new beauty to the estate. Start spring with a visit to see and smell Applewood’s beautiful spring blossoms. In June, the Perennial Garden is filled with peonies, poppies, iris, lilies and delphiniums while roses bloom in the Rose Garden.

Absolute Gallery, located in the heart of Lansing's Old Town District, features an eclectic assortment of art for all tastes and budgets. With exhibits changing monthly, Absolute Gallery maintains a collection of art representing local, state, national and international artists.

BAD Brewing Company is a small Microbrewery located in downtown Mason, MI which opened in the July of 2012. Our list of beers includes at least 4 house beers that will be on tap at all times with several more on a rotating basis. All of the beers are hand crafted by the owner, and new recipes are always in the works.

Historic Baldwin Park is the smallest of the Ingham County recreational jewels. Located along the Grand River, the park is named after the Baldwin family, early settlers from New York State and was probably used by local Native Americans as a camping ground, due to its favorable location.

Beaumont Tower is usually open to visitors during University Carillonneur Ray McLellan's weekly performances, which take place from noon to 12:30 p.m. on the day of student lessons.

Our trails take visitors through 56 acres of natural surroundings to see exotic animals such as primates, zebras, lions, reptiles, and parrots. There is a petting area and parakeet encounter for an up close and personal adventure with our animals.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University is committed to exploring international contemporary culture and ideas through art. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid, the museum features a striking façade of pleated stainless steel and glass, signaling the museum and the university’s dynamic vision.

The IQhub is a 501(c)3 non-profit museum with a mission to educate the public, while bridging the gap between agricultural producers and consumers, using interactive displays and presentations. The IQhub is an educational center for agricultural history, innovation and exploration.

Cooley Gardens belongs to the City of Lansing and is located just south of Lansing's central business district at Capitol Ave and Main St. Cooley Gardens is an eclectic garden, typical of formal estate gardens in the early part of the 20th century. It is composed of garden rooms enclosed by shrubbery, each with a different theme of planting.

Zehnder's Splash Village is one of the few indoor waterpark hotels in the Midwest with two distinct aquatic adventures offering something for the entire family. Thirty-two guest rooms feature an inside panoramic view of the Atrium Park.
