South Haven is proud to be known as the "Blueberry Capital of the World" because Michigan, and particularly Van Buren County, ranks as the nation's leading producer. The four day Blueberry festival will be held in various locations in and out of doors in the Lake Michigan Beachtown community of South Haven, Michigan.

The Lakeside Association is very important to our community. It sets a standard for all in the area to work together to achieve a thriving, vital and fun environment that we all enjoy and appreciate.

The Coloma Glad-Peach Festival is an annual celebration of the gladiolus flowers and peaches, which are both grown locally. The festival is held the first weekend in August, and provides three days of family friendly fun for all ages.

JUNE 15TH & 16TH 2018 The Annual Harborfest - A celebration of Southwestern Michigan's unique maritime history! This annual summer celebration is packed with free family fun. From top-notch free nightly entertainment along the waterfront to action-packed dragon boat races.

Retail Farm Market & U-Pick, Ready to take away fresh fruits, vegetables, pumpkins, cider, jams, honey and pies at the retail location - 6405 109th Ave. at 64th St. 3 miles eat of I-196 exit 26 just north of South Haven. U-pick sweet and sour cherries, peaches, plums, apples and pumpkins in season.

At McIntosh Orchards our family strives to provide your family with an enjoyable family outing, where you can build your annual traditions. Weather it is with our fresh apple cider from our own mill, or hand picking the fruits for your pies from our orchard.

Don and Eleanor Iott, both retired educators, own and operate Nottawa Fruit Farm. Although "Farming" in the Nottawa area can be traced back several generations on Eleanor's side, the retail business was begun with the planting of one-half acre of strawberries and then selling them from a card table in their front yard.

Big Dan's farm is located at Hartford, Michigan in the Southwestern corner of the state. Hartford is located along Interstate Highway I-94, roughly halfway between the cities of St. Joseph and Kalamazoo.

A county fair of one type or another in Van Buren County can trace its beginnings back more than 150 years. Although it was not known as a county fair, the first mention of a fair came during the summer of 1851 when the Van Buren Agricultural Society was formed. Jay R. Monroe served as its president.
