1st Weekend of October

Scarecrow Festival is a family event for all ages – a fall festival featuring Scarecrow Contest | Dog Costume contest | children’s area with games/rides carnival | local and regional musical acts | Scarecrow Idol contest, and many other events.

The Blast Corn Maze in Dexter Michigan has a 10 acre field of corn with 3 1/2 miles of trails. It has 3 exits – short, medium, and full maze to accommodate all corn maze enthusiasts. We have a Corn Maze Express map with marks that you will be able to purchase to help you through the maze.

The Detroit International RiverWalk spans more than three miles, from Rose Parks Blvd. to the Belle Isle Bridge, along the Detroit River you can spend time walking or biking through the well designed path and gardens to enjoy the nature and fall splendor.

Kackleberry Farm is a seasonal agri-tourism adventure in Monroe, Michigan. We open during the Fall each year for old-fashioned family entertainment with corn maze, pumpkin patch, events and attractions that are fun for kids from ages 2 to 92!

The Dossin Great Lakes Museum is located on the shores of Detroit’s historic Belle Isle, just east of downtown Detroit.

The Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory is the oldest continually-running conservatory in the United States. It is divided into five distinct sections: Palm House, the Tropical House, the Cactus House, a sunken Fernery, and the Show House.

Wiard's Cider Mill and Apple Orchard was founded in Michigan by George Wiard in 1837. Visitors can enjoy u-pick apples, u-pick pumpkin patch, drink delicious cider, roam through a corn maze, climb on a hayride, or reserve a field trip, Wiard’s is the orchard for you.

Beware! This is not your average haunted house! The acres of Wiard's Orchards south of Ypsilanti Township, Michigan (near Ann Arbor, in Washtenaw County) are truly haunted. The history of these lands has lived in haunted houses of Michigan lore for centuries.

Maybury Farm 12 acre Corn Maze has been a HUGE HIT with folks of all ages! Take the hayride to and from the Corn Maze and stop by the barn to see all of the farm animals. Don't forget to get some cider or hot chocolate before you make it a day.
