What to See and Do in Region 1 Detroit Area

September 18, 2021 – November 6, 2021

The Blast Corn Maze in Dexter Michigan has a 10 acre field of corn with 3 1/2 miles of trails. It has 3 exits – short, medium, and full maze to accommodate all corn maze enthusiasts. We have a Corn Maze Express map with marks that you will be able to purchase to help you through the maze.

Beware! This is not your average haunted house! The acres of Wiard's Orchards south of Ypsilanti Township, Michigan (near Ann Arbor, in Washtenaw County) are truly haunted. The history of these lands has lived in haunted houses of Michigan lore for centuries.

Maybury Farm 12 acre Corn Maze has been a HUGE HIT with folks of all ages! Take the hayride to and from the Corn Maze and stop by the barn to see all of the farm animals. Don't forget to get some cider or hot chocolate before you make it a day.

Third Weekend in September

Romulus Pumpkin Festival in Romulus, MI is a three day street festival on the third weekend in September. It starts with a night “parade of lights”. The annual Pumpkin Festival is a three-day event that begins with a night parade where everything is lighted from bicycles to cement trucks.

Labor Day - First week of November

Since 1977, Plymouth Orchards & Cider Mill has been the local cider mill for families to enjoy fresh-pressed apple cider, fresh-made donuts, crispy caramel apples, icy apple cider slushies, fresh organic apples, baked pies and a fun farm experience.
