What to See and Do in Region 11

The Posen Potato Festival is held annually the first weekend after Labor Day, Friday-Sunday. The Posen Potato Festival is fun for the whole family. We have good food, good music, carnival, arts & crafts, plus much more. Our grand parade is always on Sunday, and you don’t want to miss that!

At Boyne Mountain we love October for one reason...it means it's almost winter! Okay, so we also like when the leaves change color, that there are pumpkins and mums on every corner, and the taste of a nice fall Michigan brew. We like all of these things so much, that we decided to throw an epic party to celebrate!

Pond Hill Farm is a family owned and operated farm located 5 miles north of downtown Harbor Springs, Michigan on scenic M119. The farm is open to the public and is a great place to bring the family for a fun filled farm experience.

The Harbor Springs Lyric Theatre open year round features three theaters each with their own theme. The largest theater seats 195 and is proud to bring first run & classic movies to downtown Harbor Springs, Michigan. The Lyric Theatre is a charitable non-profit organization offering movies on Main Street in Harbor Springs, MI.

The tiny red store in downtown Good Hart was built by resident Cliff Powers in 1934 and operated as a general grocery, butcher, and gas station until 1971 when the Powers sold the business to current owner Carolyn (Woods) Sutherland, who currently operates the grocery, bakery, deli, and post office with husband Jim Sutherland.

Enjoy the stunning views of our area on our professionally guided shipwreck tour! Take our cruise down the Cheboygan River, under the drawbridge, and past three lighthouses. From there we cruise into Lake Huron around the 14′ Shoal Light and into Duncan Bay over three shallow water shipwrecks.
