Of course Christmas is the time when we all gather in the local Christmas Tree Farms to pick out the perfect Christmas Tree, enjoy hot chocolate and apple cider while taking a horse drawn sleigh-ride through the woods of Michigan. Enjoy Life, Christmas Life, with Michigan Life!

What to See and Do in Region 14 -Marquette Area

We are located in the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We have 25 acres of sheared Spruce and Balsam available for choose and cut customers. Come see our friendly, tame, bottle-raised reindeer while you search for that perfect Christmas tree. Choose and cut your own tree, choose and we will cut for you, or select from our pre-cut variety.

Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at the fifth annual ‘Winter Snow Fun’ Holiday Parade, scheduled for Friday, December 1,2017 at 6 p.m. in Marquette’s Downtown District.

Iron River's Christmas in Lights Celebration is December 2 2017 with Arts & Crafts Fair from 9 AM - 3 PM. at the Windsor Center on US-2. From 10 AM - 2 PM is the annual Bake Sale and at 6 PM don't miss the Iron River's Christmas in Lights Christmas Parade. Make it a full day of holiday festivities.

The annual Christmas in Lights celebration in downtown Iron River December 2, 2017 at 6 PM includes a Christmas Parade with lighted floats, bonfire and fireworks, live carolers, hot cocoa & cider and free cookies.

February 15 - 19, 2018 The UP200 is one of the top 12-dog mid-distance races in the Midwest, as well as being an Iditarod qualifier. The UP200 trail covers 230 miles of challenging terrain from Marquette to Grand Marais, Michigan and back again through forested land and near-wilderness.

North Front Street in Downtown Marquette will be buried in snow on Saturday, Feb. 4 for the fifth annual Downtown Showdown Rail Jam. The 100 and 200 blocks of North Front Street will serve as the location for the event and will bring the excitement of the ski hill to the historic streets of Downtown Marquette.

The 2017 IronLine Sled Dog Race will take place on January 27-28, 2017.
